What the 30-minute call covers.
One conversation about your books, not a pitch. You leave knowing what the problem is and what fixing it involves.
- Where the books stand. Which accounts are reconciled and through what month, what is behind, and what your CPA, lender or buyer needs from the books.
- What is wrong, in your words. A balance sheet that does not balance, duplicate bank-feed transactions, accounts that will not reconcile, payroll or sales-tax liabilities that do not tie, a file a previous bookkeeper left half-done.
- Which engagement fits. QuickBooks cleanup, catch-up bookkeeping or monthly bookkeeping — or setup, migration or payroll when that is the real problem. Or none, when the honest answer is that you do not need us.
- What we would need to scope it. Usually accountant-user access to your own QuickBooks file (which you can remove at any time) or a few reports and statements.

The call is led by a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor (QuickBooks Online Level 2, Payroll) — someone who works inside QuickBooks files like yours, not a salesperson and not a call center. The certification is held by the person who leads the TechBrot team; verification is on request.

A look at the file, if it needs one
When the call alone cannot size the work, we ask for accountant-user access to your own QuickBooks file. You grant it from inside QuickBooks and can remove it at any time. No passwords are shared.

What we will fix or keep, the timeline, and one fixed fee, in writing. No hourly billing. The scope binds us to the fee and the deliverables; it does not bind you.
