1. Trademark Notice
QuickBooks®, QuickBooks Online®, QuickBooks Desktop®, QuickBooks Enterprise®, QuickBooks Payroll®, ProAdvisor®, and Intuit® are trademarks or registered trademarks of Intuit Inc., used in the United States and other countries. TechBrot Inc. references these marks solely to describe the software platforms on which TechBrot holds certification and provides services.
TechBrot’s use of these marks is nominative — that is, for the purpose of accurately identifying the products and certifications to which TechBrot’s services relate. Such use does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation by or with Intuit Inc. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced on this website are the property of their respective owners.
2. Independence from Intuit
TechBrot Inc. is an independent Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor firm. TechBrot Inc. is not owned, operated, employed, endorsed, sponsored by, or otherwise affiliated with Intuit Inc.
TechBrot’s personnel hold active Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor certifications, which are professional credentials issued by Intuit and verifiable through Intuit’s public ProAdvisor directory. Holding such certifications does not make TechBrot an agent, representative, reseller, or affiliate of Intuit. Any engagement you enter into with TechBrot is solely with TechBrot Inc. (or, where applicable, with an independent operator in TechBrot’s network), and not with Intuit Inc.
Because TechBrot is independent, its recommendations regarding software platforms, plans, and configurations are made in the interest of the client’s business needs and are not directed by any vendor relationship.
3. No Professional Advice
The content published on this website — including service descriptions, articles, guides, frequently asked questions, pricing ranges, and explanatory material regarding tax, accounting, payroll, and compliance topics — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute, and should not be relied upon as, legal, tax, accounting, financial, or other professional advice for any particular situation.
General information cannot account for the specific facts and circumstances of your business. You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of any content on this website without seeking advice from a qualified professional licensed in the relevant jurisdiction. Engaging TechBrot for services, and receiving deliverables under a written engagement scope, is distinct from the general information published on this website.
4. Scope of Services
TechBrot provides operational accounting services, which may include bookkeeping, QuickBooks setup, cleanup, and migration, payroll configuration and management, and sales tax compliance support, as defined in each client’s written engagement scope.
TechBrot does not provide the following services:
- Preparation or filing of federal, state, or local income tax returns;
- Representation of clients before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or any state or local taxing authority;
- Audit, attestation, or assurance services as defined under applicable accounting standards;
- Legal advice or legal representation of any kind;
- Investment, securities, or financial-planning advice.
Income tax filing and IRS representation are the work of a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA). TechBrot coordinates with the client’s CPA or EA, or can refer the client to a licensed professional, but does not itself perform these services. Where an engagement requires legal counsel, tax counsel, or other licensed practitioners, TechBrot will say so and refer accordingly.
5. No Guarantee of Outcomes
TechBrot performs its services with professional care and in accordance with the standards described in each written engagement scope. However, TechBrot does not warrant or guarantee any particular result, outcome, savings, refund, tax position, audit result, or financial performance arising from its services or from any information on this website.
Statements regarding response times, turnaround, or service standards (for example, discovery-call scheduling, written-scope delivery timeframes, or diagnostic availability) describe TechBrot’s operating intentions and are not contractual guarantees unless expressly stated as such in a signed engagement agreement.
6. Pricing & Information Accuracy
Pricing ranges published on this website are indicative and are provided to give prospective clients a general sense of cost. They are not offers, quotes, or binding prices. The fixed fee for any engagement is established in a written scope provided after a discovery call and is based on the specific facts of the engagement.
References to third-party software features, plan tiers, and pricing — including those of Intuit’s QuickBooks products — reflect TechBrot’s understanding at the time of writing. Such products are controlled by their respective owners, who may change features, names, availability, and pricing at any time. TechBrot is not responsible for changes made by third parties and endeavors to update this website as it becomes aware of material changes.
7. Third-Party Links & Tools
This website may contain links to third-party websites and references to third-party tools or services, including Intuit’s ProAdvisor directory and software products. These are provided for convenience and information only. TechBrot does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, policies, or practices of any third-party website or service. Accessing third-party resources is at your own risk and subject to those parties’ own terms.
8. Operator Network
TechBrot delivers certain engagements through a curated network of independent accounting practices (“operators”). Operators are independent businesses that have agreed to deliver services under TechBrot’s operating standards. The vetting standards TechBrot applies to operators are described on its website and are applied in good faith; they do not constitute a guarantee of any operator’s performance, and each operator remains an independent business responsible for its own work, licensing, and insurance.
Where an engagement is delivered by a network operator, the contracting and delivery relationship is structured as described in the applicable engagement agreement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TechBrot Inc., its officers, employees, contractors, and operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or related to your use of this website or reliance on any information published on it.
This website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Liability arising from engagements for services is governed exclusively by the terms of the applicable written engagement agreement, and not by this website disclaimer.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
