An approved practice would onboard against TechBrot’s documented operating sequence — scoping, file handling, reconciliation discipline, reporting cadence, and communication.

Who contracts, who delivers, and who owns the file.
You contract with TechBrot Inc. The engagement, the written fixed-fee scope, and the standards are TechBrot’s. The TechBrot team, led by a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, does the work and owns the engagement end to end. No partner practice delivers client work today. If a team member becomes unavailable, the TechBrot team picks the engagement up with full context and your file stays with you; you are not left renegotiating with a stranger.
You own the books. The work happens inside your own QuickBooks Online file, under your own subscription, with the ProAdvisor added as an accountant user. Nothing is held in a proprietary platform you cannot get out of. If you leave, you keep everything, and there is no export to request — you already have it. That is a deliberate response to what happened to businesses whose provider held their ledger and then shut down.
